I find it fascinating that most people plan their vacations with better care than they plan their spiritual lives. It is my personal opinion that escape is easier than change. It’s easier for us to run away from issues or poor plans than it is to change them. God calls on us to make a difference in this world. He wants to use each of us in our own special way. But you must know that there is a plan, and you must be willing to follow the plan. What is that Plan? I find reading the Bible unveils it to us piece by piece. If you are in a zone in your life where your Bible has been distance, start reading 1 or 2 verses a day, then build up to a chapter, then a book. You will begin to understand God’s plan for you. What matters is not the duration of your life, but the “DONATION” of it. If you have been hesitant on getting involved in any service or ministry in the church, what is your excuse? Abraham was old. Moses stuttered. Joseph was abused. Elijah was suicidal. Peter was hot tempered. Martha worried all the time. Timothy was timid. GOD has given us a plan and how to effectively deal with whatever may be holding us back. STEP UP!
